TSDS Case Studies
With generous underwriting from the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation, TEA has commissioned case studies of the impact of TSDS components in Texas public school districts and charter schools.
These case studies highlight how local education agencies (LEAs) use the TSDS tools, lessons they've learned, implementation and adoption challenges, and concrete benefits to students.
We have completed interviews with two "limited production release LEAs" who adopted the studentGPS™ Dashboard prototypes (and who are now using the completed, TEA-hosted dashboards), Lubbock ISD and Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD.
Lubbock is posted below, and PSJA will follow this spring.
We are also currently working on a case study with several LEAs to learn about the challenges and benefits of adopting the state-sponsored student information systems.
