TSDS Case Studies
With generous underwriting from the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation, TEA has commissioned case studies of the impact of TSDS components in Texas public school districts and charter schools.
These case studies highlight how local education agencies (LEAs) use the TSDS tools, lessons they've learned, implementation and adoption challenges, and concrete benefits to students.
The case studies include two "limited production release LEAs" who adopted the studentGPS® Dashboard prototypes (and who are now using the completed, TEA-hosted dashboards), Lubbock ISD and Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD. We also commissioned a case study on a spectrum of state-sponsored student information system (SSIS) users to learn about the challenges and benefits of adopting a SSIS, which will be posted soon.
