Webinar Feedback

Thursday, May 6, 2010, 11:00 a.m. Central Time (CT)

During this webinar, TEA provided an overview of the BPC project for Texas educators, presented information about new website features and resources, explained how best practices are identified, and discussed the new Research Framework and Evidence Standards. Central to the BPC are the Best Practice Summaries, which present information about developing and implementing programs across a wide spectrum of topic areas, including instruction, dropout prevention & recovery, college & career readiness, working with English language learners, and structures to support learning (e.g., vertical teams and professional learning communities). Presenters walked through an example of a Best Practice Summary to help Texas educators build an understanding of the content and evidence presented in the summaries. The webinar closed with information about the many ways in which Texas educators can participate in and benefit from the BPC. To view the archived webinar, click on “View Webinar.”
