Statement of Commissioner Michael L. Williams regarding Education Week's Diploma Counts Report

 Education Week and the Editorial Projects in Education (EPE) Research Center today released its national "Diplomas Count 2013: Second Chances-Turning Dropouts into Graduates" report. Commissioner of Education Michael L. Williams issued the following statement in regard to the findings for Texas: "For more than a decade, the work to improve our state's graduation rates has been the focus at the state and local level," said Williams. "The Diplomas Count 2013 report shows those efforts to be paying off..."
