TELPAS Reading Released Tests Grades 2–12

Student Assessment Home | Assessment A–Z Directory | Contact Student Assessment

New Texas English Language Proficiency Assessment System (TELPAS) reading tests for grades 2–12 were implemented in the 2007–2008 school year. The spring 2010 tests are the first tests to be released.

To view released tests from other testing programs, visit the Released Tests, Answer Keys, and Scoring Guides webpage.

Spring 2010

TELPAS reading released tests are provided in the online interface used for the spring administration.  These released tests can be administered to students for diagnostic purposes.  Individual student raw scores (number of items answered correctly) are generated.  Version 2.13 of the ePAT launcher must be used in order for a test to be scored.  To determine a student's proficiency level rating, the spring 2010 TELPAS reading raw score conversion tables should be used.
