Proposed Repeal of and New 19 TAC Chapter 241, Principal Certificate, §241.15, Standards Required for the Principal Certificate
Summary: The proposed rule actions would be necessary as a result of a multi-year project to systematically review, revise, and align all state policies and guidelines for Texas principals. The proposed repeal of and new 19 TAC §241.15 would delete the current principal standards and incorporate the proposed new standards recommended to be used as a guideline for the development of curricula and training by educator preparation programs and for use in the development of principal certification examinations by the SBEC.
