Planning amounts for the 2009-2011 school year have been calculated for the Statewide Longitudinal Data System (SLDS) LEA Grant Application. Local educational agencies (LEAs) may select from two reports to locate their planning amounts. One report is sorted alphabetically by LEA name and the other is sorted by Educational Service Center Region number and alphabetically by LEA.

How to Apply
Eligible applicants must apply through the eGrants system. To apply, applicants must have appropriate Texas Education Agency Secure Environment (TEA SE) access. Applicants who do not have TEA SE access for eGrants should visit the TEA SE Information Center. An overview of the TEA SE online request process. Accessing the eGrants Application
Applicants may locate the 2009-2011 Statewide Longitudinal Data System (SLDS) LEA Grant Application through TEA SE via eGrants as follows:
1. Open the drop-down list titled “Available Grant Programs in eGrants.”
2. From the drop-down list, select “2009-2011 Statewide Longitudinal Data System (SLDS) LEA Grant.”
3. On the Grant Menu screen, select “2009-2011 Statewide Longitudinal Data System (SLDS) LEA Grant.”
Deadline to Apply
Eligible applicants must apply through the eGrants system by 5:00 p.m. Central Time, Monday, August 2, 2010. Applications are effective on the date received in TEA in substantially approvable form, or on December 1, 2009, whichever is later.
The following table lists reporting deadlines for the 2009-2011 SLDS Grant Application. LEAs that are awarded grants are responsible for meeting all required deadlines. Failure to meet deadlines may result in loss of funds and could cause the LEA to be identified as “high risk.”
Grent Period: Stamp-in date- 5/31/2011 (Pre-award costs permitted back to 12/1/2009)
Final Expenditure Report Due: 06/03/2011
Revised Final Report Due: 08/01/2011
