Amended 19 TAC Chapter 97, Planning and Accountability, Subchapter DD, Investigative Reports, Sanctions, and Record Reviews, and Subchapter EE, Accreditation Status, Standards, and Sanctions, was filed as adopted with the Texas Register under the commissioner's rulemaking authority on November 3, 2008.
The adopted amendments add language to include charter schools in the accreditation process under Texas Education Code, Chapter 39. The amendments were adopted with no changes from what was published as proposed.

2. Adopted New 19 TAC Chapter 103, Health and Safety, Subchapter CC, Commissioner's Rules Concerning Safe Schools, §103.1201, Standards for the Operation of School District Disciplinary Alternative Education Programs
Effective Date: December 14, 2008.
New 19 TAC Chapter 103, Health and Safety, Subchapter CC, Commissioner's Rules Concerning Safe Schools, §103.1201, Standards for the Operation of School District Disciplinary Alternative Education Programs, was filed as adopted with the Texas Register under the commissioner's rulemaking authority on November 24, 2008.
The new rule adopts minimum standards for disciplinary alternative education programs in accordance with the Texas Education Code, §37.008. The new rule was adopted with changes from what was published as proposed.
