Effective Date: July 28, 2011.

Amended 19 TAC Chapter 97, Planning and Accountability, Subchapter AA, Accountability and Performance Monitoring, §97.1001, Accountability Rating System, was filed as adopted with the Texas Register under the commissioner's rulemaking authority on July 8, 2011.

The amendment adopts applicable excerpts of the 2011 Accountability Manual. The amendment was adopted with no changes from what was published as proposed.

4. Adopted Amendment to 19 TAC Chapter 97, Planning and Accountability, Subchapter EE, Accreditation Status, Standards, and Sanctions, §97.1072, Residential Facility Monitoring; Determinations, Investigations, and Sanctions

Effective Date: August 2, 2011.

Amended 19 TAC Chapter 97, Planning and Accountability, Subchapter EE, Accreditation Status, Standards, and Sanctions, §97.1072, Residential Facility Monitoring; Determinations, Investigations, and Sanctions, was filed as adopted with the Texas Register under the commissioner's rulemaking authority on July 13, 2011.

The adopted amendment revises procedures for the administration of residential facility (RF) monitoring for public school districts and open-enrollment charter schools related to programs provided to students with disabilities residing in RFs. Specifically, the amendment adopts revisions to the Residential Facility Monitoring (RFM) Manual, dated August 2011, which describe updated methods and strategies for implementing the RF monitoring system. The amendment was adopted with no changes from what was published as proposed.
