Maximum Entitlements
Maximum entitlements for the programs included in the 2011-2012 Special Education Consolidated Application are now available for local educational agencies (LEAs) to view and download. Carefully review the Special Education Consolidated announcement letter for important information regarding maximum entitlements for grant programs included in the 2011-2012 Special Education Consolidated Grant Application.
LEAs may select from two consolidated reports to locate their maximum entitlements. One report is sorted alphabetically by LEA name, and the other is sorted by education service center egion number and alphabetically by LEA. The reports are as of March 5, 2012, and are subject to change. If you have any questions regarding the maximum entitlements, please call the Division of Grants Administration at (512) 463-8525 or email GAFPC@tea.state.tx.us.

Amendments
LEAs must amend their 2011–2012 Special Education Consolidated Application to incorporate maximum entitlement funding and carryover if applicable. An LEA that has not budgeted for its maximum entitlement and/or carryover by early May 2012 will have its budget revised by Texas Education Agency (TEA) staff. TEA staff will add the 2011–2012 maximum entitlement and/or carryover funding to the LEA’s largest budgeted class/object code for the respective grant. Applicable LEAs will receive emails regarding the revised budgets and Notice of Grant Award (NOGA).
Please refer to the 2011-2012 eGrants Schedule of Instructions (pages 9-13) for more information regarding amendments. The deadline to submit amendments is 5:00 p.m. Central Time, June 15, 2012.
