Agenda:

The Committee on School Initiatives of the State Board of Education will hold a public meeting to interview Generation Seventeen open-enrollment charter school applicants who have qualified for interviews by submitting complete applications that received an average required score by an external review committee.

The agenda for the public meeting is as follows:

I. Welcome

II. Interviews (7 total with 55 minutes allotted for each)
a. Proposed School - ACE (A Choice for Excellence) Charter School, Sponsored by Palm Tree Academy
b. Proposed School - C.O.R.E. Academy, Sponsored by Generations of Life Foundation
c. Proposed School - Village Tech Schools, Sponsored by Duncanville Church of Christ, Inc.
d. Proposed School - High Point Academy, Sponsored by FIAFW, Inc.
e. Proposed School - Bridge to Tomorrow, Sponsored by Bridge to Tomorrow
f. Proposed School - Dallas Scholars Charter School, Sponsored by Lone Star Scholars Foundation
g. Proposed School - The Pro-Vision Academy, Sponsored by Pro-Vision Educational Services, Inc.

III. Adjourn

Note: A quorum of the State Board of Education may attend the committee meeting and discuss items on the committee agenda.
