2008-2009 Collection Schedule | 2009-2010 Collection Schedule
PEIMS data files are submitted four times each school year following a schedule established by the PEIMS Data Standards:
Fall/Collection 1
Fall data include:
Snapshot data - data reflect the status of the district on Oct. 31, 2008. These data include budget, staff, organization and student data
Leaver data - data on graduates, dropouts and other school leavers identified during the 2007-2008 school year
Fall data are used to:
Calculate compensatory entitlement
Monitor special programs
Report to the federal government
Calculate retention
Calculate basic profiles for AEIS
Perform desk audits

06/05/2008 -- Last date for changes to 08-09 Data Standards
09/26/2008 -- Close of school-start window
10/13/2008 -- EDIT+ ready to process data
10/31/2008 -- Snapshot date
11/03/2008 -- EDIT+ ready for ESCs to accept district and ESC files
11/04/2008 -- Last postmark date districts can request an extension
11/13/2008 -- Manual PID corrections due at TEA
12/04/2008 -- First submission due date for District and ESC
12/26/2008 -- Manual PID corrections due at TEA
01/22/2009 -- Resubmission due data for District and ESC
03/02/2009 -- Data available to customers
Midyear/Collection 2

Summer/Collection 3
Summer data include:
Student attendance data
Course completion data
Discipline data
Restraint data
Title I, Part A data
Summer data are used to:
Calculate FSP final allotments
Calculate attendance and course completion
Create a portion of the AEIS
Augment the monitoring of special programs
Perform desk audits
Important Summer Dates:
04/13/2009 -- EDIT+ ready to process data
05/11/2009 -- EDIT+ ready for ESCs to accept District files
05/18/2009 -- Last postmark date districts can request an extension
05/28/2009 -- Manual PID corrections due at TEA
06/25/2009 -- First submission due date for Districts
07/02/2009 -- Manual PID corrections due at TEA
07/16/2009 -- Resubmission due date for Districts*
09/24/2009 -- Data available to customers
*Districts registered with TEA with year-round tracks ending later than June 25 may delay resubmission until two weeks following completion of the latest year-round track or August 27, 2009, whichever comes first. However, the initial data delivery for submission 3 must still be made by une 25, 2009, for all districts. In no case will any resubmission be processed after August 27, 2009. Corrections made beyond August 27, 2009 will be handled by State Funding.
Extended/Collection 4
Extended year data include:
Optional extended year program (OEYP) data
Extended school year services (ESY) data
Bilingual/ESL summer school program
