STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION: NO ACTION
SUMMARY: This item provides an opportunity for the board to be briefed on current agenda items and legislative activities, including but not limited to, bills impacting the duties and responsibilities of the State Board of Education and the federal American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
BOARD RESPONSE: Review and comment.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION AND SIGNIFICANT ISSUES: On an as needed basis, the board will be briefed on significant public education issues and events.
