Title IV, Part A, Subpart 3 - Gun-Free Schools Act
The Title IV, Part A, Subpart 3 - Gun-Free Schools Act requires states receiving NCLB funding to have a state law in effect requiring LEAs to expel any student who is determined to have brought a firearm to school or possessed a firearm at school, for a period of no less than one year. LEAs must annually report on any expulsion in order to receive federal education funding.
