Under the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act, every school and district in the country needs to establish paths and set goals to ensure that all children have a fair, equal and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education. The School Improvement Program (SIP) provides the tools to help reach, at a minimum, proficiency on state academic achievement standards and state academic assessments.
