Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
The Special Education Dispute Resolution Systems Handbook is designed to assist parents, school officials, and other interested parties in understanding and working through TEA's special education dispute resolution system. The handbook contains information about the mediation program including FAQs but is not intended to be legal advice. A party needing legal advice concerning a special education matter should contact a private attorney as TEA cannot provide legal assistance.
Mediation Survey
This survey is provided to parties following the completion of a mediation session.
