Supplemental Educational Service Providers
A provider of supplemental educational services may be any public or private (nonprofit or for-profit) entity that meets the state’s criteria for approval. Public schools (including charter schools), private schools, LEAs, educational service agencies, institutions of higher education, faith-based organizations, community-based organizations, business groups, and individuals are among the types of entities that may apply for state approval to provide SES.
