STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION: ACTION
SUMMARY: Proclamation 2011 was issued by the State Board of Education (SBOE) in May 2008. Sample materials bid under Proclamation 2011 are due in the regional education service centers and in the Texas Education Agency in spring 2010. On April 30, 2008, staff presented an overview of how recommended state maximum costs for Proclamation 2010 and Proclamation 2011 instructional materials are calculated. On October 29, 2009, staff held an orientation meeting, and publishers were given an opportunity to ask questions. The resulting question and answer document for Proclamation 2011 is presented for board approval.
