Accountability ratings to be released Friday

AUSTIN – The Texas Education Agency will release the 2008 accountability ratings for Texas school districts and campuses on Friday. Commissioner of Education Robert Scott will hold a press briefing at 1 p.m. in room 2-195 of the William B. Travis Building at 1701 N. Congress Avenue in Austin.

Accountability ratings information will be posted at 1 p.m. at http://www.tea.state.tx.us/perfreport/account/. The annual dropout and completion report will be posted that day as well at http://www.tea.state.tx.us/research/.
