High School Completion and Success Initiative Council
to prepare strategic plan Monday and Tuesday
AUSTIN – The High School Completion and Success Initiative Council will meet at 10 a.m. Monday and Tuesday at the Texas Education Agency’s headquarters in the William B. Travis Building in Austin.
The meeting will occur in the board room, room 1-104. The Travis Building is located at 1701 N. Congress Ave.
The council will spend both days developing its strategic plan. A draft copy of the plan is posted at: http://www.tea.state.tx.us/ed_init/thscsic/. (Editor's note: The draft plan is no loner available but information about the council is available at http://www.tea.state.tx.us/index2.aspx?id=4856&menu_id=814. ) Public testimony will be taken Monday. Those who wish to testify may sign up at the meeting.
