College Board - Connect to College Success
The College Board organization offers students, parents, and educators college guidance, college admission, financial aid, and enrollment services. This organization is not a part of TEA.
The College Board provides the following tests:
- SAT® and SAT Subject Tests® – These tests are accepted by most U.S. colleges and universities for admitting and counseling new students.
- PSAT/NMSQT® – The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test offers practice for the SAT. It also gives students a chance to enter National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) scholarship programs.
- AP® – Advanced Placement tests allow students to earn credit or advanced standing at most of the nation's colleges and universities.
- CLEP® – The College-Level Examination Program® allows students get college-level credit by passing exams in undergraduate college courses.
