The STAAR Alternate manuals for testing coordinators and test administrators (teachers) provide the policies and procedures for the training requirements and test administration. Coordinators and test administrators are required to read the manuals and refer to them as needed throughout the training and assessment process.

• STAAR Alternate Manual for District and Campus Coordinators 2012–2013
  This manual is required to be read by district and campus testing coordinators before providing training to STAAR Alternate test administrators and should be used to ensure proper testing policies and procedures are followed throughout the assessment process. 
  
  
• STAAR Alternate Manual for Test Administrators (Teachers) 2012–2013
  This manual is required to be read by test administrators before administering the STAAR Alternate assessment and should be used to ensure proper testing policies and procedures are followed throughout the assessment process.
