Admission, review, and dismissal (ARD) committees will use the participation requirements to determine if the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness Modified (STAAR™ Modified) is the appropriate assessment for a student enrolled in grades 3–8 or entering grade 9 during the 2011–2012 school year.
