The Student Assessment Division is reposting the 2009 released Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) tests for grades 3–8. These released tests are being made available to assist districts in making placement decisions about students, especially those who have not previously attended a Texas public school. Please note, however, that TAKS tests should be used to inform decisions where TAKS comparisons are appropriate. They are not necessarily reflective of performance requirements for the new STAAR assessments.

Printing and Copyright
When printing released TAKS tests for either mathematics or science, make sure the Print Menu is set to print the pages at 100% to ensure that the art reflects the intended measurement.
